Hi! I'm Lincoln, a LA native with over 7 years of experience in finance, accounting, project management, and product management. I'm driven by a curious mindset and seek to learn new things and improve myself constantly. Please take a look at my portfolio below to get a better idea of my work, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I'm always looking for opportunities to learn and grow in my professional career.
I'm lucky to have had the pleasure of working with a number of amazing teams on a variety of projects in my professional, academic, and personal lives. Here are a few of the projects that I'm the most proud of!
Business Ideation, Development, and Testing - Hobby Hopper is the graduate thesis project that I worked on with my talented classmates at UCLA's Anderson School of Management. We spent our final year in school ideating, researching, and refining a business plan built on solving for the frictions felt by young professionals when transitioning from academic to professional life. We developed this from a problem statement into a functional alpha prototype as part of our 6-month-long project. The slide deck on the left details our core journey, and the business plan on the right breaks down a fully functional business plan including details of our market research, user research, competitive analysis, revenue strategy, and financial modeling and analysis.
Start to Finish Design Sprint—Sprints and presentations are two of my favorite activities. This design sprint, which I completed as part of my Product Management course final, focuses on improving an existing product, Songkick.
As a sprint team member, I worked through toothbrush journeys, user grouping and experience mapping, crazy 8s, idea aggregation and prototyping, and measuring success through the HEART framework. The skills gained from utilizing formalized frameworks can be seen in our takeaways from the slides.
As the principal designer of the slide deck, I combined all of our insights with a relevant theme to deliver our findings in an easily digestible format. Although this project would not succeed without the hard work completed during the multi-week sprint, I believe the presentation of findings is equally important to delivering a successful project. We worked together to dissect our findings to deliver this final product shown. I'm particularly happy with Slide 13 & 14!
Forward-Looking Market Trend Analysis - The rise of AI in the 2020's has led to the acceleration of Big Data's importance in many industries. In the following project, I examine the use of AI in Real Estate Tech and examine Zillow's current AI use cases to generate 3 key strategies and an implementation proposal for Zillow to continue leveraging its biggest asset, its historical data reserves, with the help of AI.
This analysis also includes additional research on technologies that are likely to have a significant impact on the Real Estate industry in the next 30 years.
Research and Planning- My love for research and planning extends well into my personal life. As an avid foodie, I have been blessed to have had the opportunity to visit a number of different countries to try their cuisines. Like many, Japan has been one of the top destinations for me for food and travel, having visited 3 times thus far.
I love sharing about my experiences and recommending restaurants, sites, and experiences to friends looking to visit, so I'm happy to share my itinerary for my most recent trip! Check out the Calendar for the full itinerary (locations are linked, and there's a color key on the top right), Locations for additional details and ratings, and Budget for the estimated budget for the 15-day trip.
